Toby is half fae, half human and in the first book, Rosemary and Rue, she is trying to figure out where she fits. The books take place in San Francisco and are populated with some fascinating characters. I whole-heartedly recommend them.Darlynnenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3730322.post-33269191588768681532011-10-18T15:58:45.051+01:002011-10-18T15:58:45.051+01:00Also meant to ask, what are the Toby Daye books li...Also meant to ask, what are the Toby Daye books like? It's basically a virus that reanimates bodies, which then happen to act like zombies in George Romero films. Probably makes no difference, though, does it? ;)rosario001noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3730322.post-187809939462482462011-10-17T17:00:54.611+01:002011-10-17T17:00:54.611+01:00I bought Feed because Mira Grant is also Seanan Mc...I bought Feed because Mira Grant is also Seanan McGuire, whose Toby Daye books I enjoy immensely. Although this book is still in my teetering TBR pile, I hope to get to it soon. Thanks for a great review.Darlynnenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3730322.post-46441377169863920512011-10-17T15:06:31.619+01:002011-10-17T15:06:31.619+01:00Well, I won't be reading this book...Well, I won't be reading this book on principle. I find anything "zombie" culturally offensive. But I do agree that the cover and title are just wonderful! Clever and effective, what more can you ask for?lakaribanenoreply@blogger.com
