Apologies for the mess, I'm changing my template and having a bit of trouble editing it. Nice project for the long Easter weekend, eh?
ETA: Well, that was surprisingly easy! Why on earth was I faffing about with the template code? Blogger's page layout tool is soooo easy to use! So, how does this look to you?
Pretty.
ReplyDeleteI really like it!
ReplyDeleteAnd I know! Isn't the new Blogger Layout system really easy? Like you, I've been with Blogger since the stone ages, and I dragged my feet on "upgrading" to their new layouts because I was scared my blog would blow up! But then I had a template meltdown and had no choice in the matter. Can't believe I waited so long!
I love it. I was playing around with the new Blogger layout tool but haven't taken the plunge yet and saved the changes. But you have inspired me. I love the header image. I didn't see anything like that while I was playing around with the tool.
ReplyDeleteThank you all!
ReplyDeleteWendy: Yes, that's exactly it. Before, if you wanted to customise anything, you had to dive into the code. It's so much easier these days, and the templates can look so much nicer. I still have a screenshot of my first one, isn't it awful?
Renee: Go for it! I got this particular template from outside Blogger. Here's the link. They're very easy to change afterwards with the blogger tools. The one I chose was actually a 3 column one, which I don't like, and changing it to 2 columns was a breeze.
Very pretty and spring-like! I love the colour scheme.
ReplyDeleteI love the new template - gorgeous colors!
ReplyDeleteThank you, both! Looks like it's a winner!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I love the fact that it is so easy to add new things into the new Blogger layouts! So easy!
ReplyDeleteYes, they've done well! I think I'll be changing templates a bit more frequently now!
ReplyDeleteLove the new look! :)
